Should Manufacturers Sell Links to their dealers

We were recently advised by one of our manufacturers that they have decided to sell the links from their site to the highest bidder.  The links are used to refer customers to online dealers where their products can be purchased.  We have not yet decided if we should participate in the program.  Our question is it simply another way for a manufacturer to make money or does it violate some unwritten rule of ethics about “implied endorsements” We want to know what you think!  Visit Our Poll
