Hello,
I was looking for your opinion on if I should use a garage floor paint like what I found at my hardware store or if I should use your garage floor tile. The garage tile is much more expensive than the epoxy, is it worth it??

Hi Donna,
First and foremost, garage floor epoxy and garage floor paint are not the same thing. I will spare you the big technical explanation but suffice to say that for a garage floor a garage floor epoxy is better than garage floor paint.
Not all garage floor epoxy (http://www.jnkproducts.com/epoarmor.htm) products were created equal. I would make sure you look for a product with a 20 mil or better dry film thickness, 100% solids or 99.xx% and something that is or can be coated with a good urethane. Coating your garage floor with an epoxy can be a big deal so make sure you are ready for the work, you have a place to store your stuff and that you use a good product --because it is not one of those things you are going to want to do twice.
Garage floor tile (http://www.jnkproducts.com/garage-floor-tile-index.htm) is similar to garage floor epoxy in one respect.... A lot of good product is on the market as well as a lot of..... Well not so good product so be careful! Always get a sample of garage floor tile before you install it.
Garage floor tile does have some advantages. Very little floor preparation is required. For example see the terrible floor we covered with our garage tile here (http://www.jnkproducts.com/blog/installing-garage-floor-tile/)
Another advantage is that the floor is ready to drive on right away and that you can doo the floor in stages. I hope I unconfused you ;-)
