Epoxy
Garage Floor Vs EpoArmor
|
|
Epoxy
garage
floor typically refers to a garage floor coating with an epoxy
base. Epoxy for a garage floor covering may come in a 1-part or a 2-part mixture.
Most commercial/industrial garage floor epoxy paint on the market
requires extensive cleaning and acid etching.
EpoArmor is similar to
other epoxy garage floor coatings in that it has an Epoxy base. This,
however, is
where our similarity ends. EpoArmor garage floor covering
uses a thick flexible epoxy for its base coat. A layer of color flakes
is then broadcast into the epoxy floor coating. The color of your floor will come
from the black or grey epoxy and the color flakes. Many customers will
also blend various colors together to achieve their own custom floor color. Come back the
next day and apply the included layer of Urethane.

Installation
of this garage floor covering product could not be easier. Start with a clean, dry
garage floor floor. Use
paint thinner or mineral spirits and a brush to clean any oil spots.
Don't use any water or acid! Next apply a layer of garage epoxy floor
paint in accordance with the installation direction--make sure your
garage door is open to leave a safe exit. Evenly broadcast some some
epoxy garage floor covering color flakes
across the now covered section of the garage floor, and you are ready to go to the next spot. Repeat
the process until the entire surface is complete. Let this great product
dry overnight and coat with Urethane the following day. In winter
months, we recommend leaving the door between the house and the garage
open. |
