The retractable Secure-Screen's require 5" of headroom above the center spring pad on sectional garage doors. Most doors that are a bit close can be adjusted to fit.

Will our screen interfere with the operation of your door and electric operator?

No, Secure-Screens are designed by Garage Door Installers and work well with your existing system. Professionally installed for less than you think.

Can our screens be adapted to your patio or porch?

Yes, they make excellent bug and sun screens that will last for decades.

How do they hold up to the wind?

Wind will not damage your screen. The Hook and Loop attachment seals may be broken on the edges as the screen billows in high wind conditions.

How do you maintain and clean your screen?

Use a soft brush and soapy water to clean your screen. Also lubricate the zipper with pledge periodically. The screen self stores so that it stays clean during periods of non use.

Can your screen be motorized?

Yes, Secure-Screen can be powered by a tube-motor with remote for an additional charge, generally $400-$500.

How does shipping work?

Can I install a Secure-Screen myself?

Anyone with general handyman skills can install one of these screens. Overhead door experience is not necessary - however, some installs require centering your overhead door springs which can be a very dangerous process for someone lacking experience.
 

IMPORTANT NOTE: The only (2) item's needed for a Secure-Screen install that are NOT included are: (2) 1" torsion tubes corresponding to screen size (can be purchased at any local garage door dealer), and screens 10' and under will need a 10' piece of 3" schedule 40 PVC. Screens wider than 10' will need two 10' pieces of 3" schedule 40 PVC. We do not ship these items because they are available locally and will cost you so much more in the long run because of the shipping size.
