Uses:
Rescue 911 Elastomeric roof coating may be applied to metal roofs, mobile homes, RV's, metal gutters, concrete or brick.
Surface Preparation:
All surfaces to be coated or repaired must be clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, grease and rust. Rust must be removed and area primed with a zinc oxide primer before application. Concrete surfaces must have cured a minimum of 30 days. Cracks in concrete or masonry surfaces are to be filled with butyl rubber caulking. Roof surfaces that have aluminum or acrylic roof coatings must be primed with asphalt primer before application.
Application:
Recommended application of Rescue 911 roof coatings:
  • Apply by spray brush or roller
  • For best results apply in a two(2)-coat application
  • Use an application coverage rate of 1 gallon per 500 square feet per coat.
  • Do not apply at ambient temperatures of below 40 degrees Fahrenheit of above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. allow 24-48 hours drying and curing times between each coat, depending on relative humidity and ambient temperature.
Precautions:
Do not apply to PVC roofs or sprayed in place roofs. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Provide proper ventilation or respiratory equipment. Use Proper safety equipment. if swallowed, Do Not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Dispose of product or container in an environmentally safe manner.
Clean-Up:
Equipment may be cleaned with mineral spirits. Take necessary precautions when handling combustible material.
